Alexander-Arnold, 20, only made his Reds debut in 2016, became one of Jurgen Klopp’s most consistent players and signed a new contract until 2024.
Alexander Arnold’s impressive performances over the past two seasons have made him Klopp’s first choice.
Indeed, his form earned him international recognition in 2018, with Gareth Southgate selecting him to his team for the 2018 World Cup, when he scored his first goal in England in the 3-0 victory over the United States.

“I’m ecstatic and really proud,” Alexander-Arnold said on the Reds’ official website. “I feel privileged to have the support and confidence of the club to offer me a new contract.
“There was no doubt in my mind to sign and extend my years with the club. Let us hope that we can achieve a lot of success during these years.
“As soon as they offered the contract, there was no hesitation. What made it easier for me was to have people around me to make sure that I was able to focus on football as much as possible and reach an agreement as quickly as possible.”
