Hezbollah Secretary General Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah received a letter from Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.
According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Siyassah, the Venezuelan President wrote this letter to the Secretary General of Hezbollah after he took a stand against Washington’s interventionism aimed at destabilizing Latin American countries. In his letter, President Maduro thanked Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah for his support to the Venezuelan legal government.
The Kuwaiti newspaper also cites sources claiming that Maduro’s letter was written in response to a letter from Hezbollah’s Secretary General in which Hezbollah expressed its readiness to offer its assistance to President Maduro. “It is not clear whether or not President Maduro accepted the offer of the Hezbollah Secretary General,” the newspaper wrote.
These sources point out that Lebanese Hezbollah members are increasingly supporting the legal government of Venezuela, the newspaper reports.
