Yemen: army to use deterrent weapons against peace agreement violators

The US/Israel/Arab monarchy coalition is in danger of being caught short: Ansarallah now threatens to pull out its “strategic weapons” if the aggressors continue to violate the Stockholm Agreement. These strategic deterrent weapons may go beyond missiles or drones

According to the El-Nashra information website, Mohamed Nasser al-Atefi, Yemeni Minister of Defence, stressed that “the weapons of strategic deterrence at the disposal of the army and the People’s Committees will be used against those who want to violate the peace agreements, agreements on which the Yemeni people rely in order to put an end to the aggression of the occupants and the blockade of Yemen and to achieve peace.

The Minister of Defence stressed the importance of the process of training and preparing the country’s armed forces to create “a resilient and professional force with self-confidence”, before adding that the pro-Riyad coalition, humiliated, would soon be forced to leave Yemeni territory with bitterness.

In addition, Yemeni armed forces spokesman Yahya Saree reported the cleaning of 15 military points belonging to pro-Riyad mercenaries, not to mention announcing that “Yemeni forces have moved from defensive to offensive”.

“On Friday, January 25, army and People’s Committee forces cleaned 15 mercenary seats in the south of Jabal an-Nar in the Haraz region of Hajjah governorate, which are in Riyadh’s pay.
He told the official Yemeni news agency Saba that this recent operation took place after a reconnaissance operation of the mercenary headquarters, resulting in 19 elements, including 7 commanders, being killed and more than 30 others injured.

The spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces added that Jabal an-Nar’s unique and exemplary operation had communicated this message to the mercenaries of the Saudi-Emirati coalition that the Yemeni forces had launched a new phase of their confrontation with the aggressors, moving from defensive to offensive.
