Zarif and his Pakistani counterpart talk on the phone

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif had a telephone conversation with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the eve of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to Iran on Sunday.
During the talks on Saturday, both sides discussed the most important issues of common interest, including the Pakistani Prime Minister’s trip to Iran.

They also discussed cooperation between Tehran and Islamabad in various areas, including the fight against terrorism.

Zarif reiterated his condemnation of the recent terrorist attack against the Pakistani army and security forces and expressed his sympathy with the nation and government of the country.
